What we collect

When you fill in a roof plan we collect your name, email, phone, ZIP and what you tell us about the building — the type, the surface, rough dimensions and what has been going wrong. If you upload photographs of a roof, we keep those with the file.

When you call or use the voice line, the conversation is recorded and transcribed, and the details you give are written into the same roof file. That is how the person who calls you back already knows your situation.

We also collect ordinary web analytics: pages viewed, roughly where the visit came from, and the kind of device. That tells us which pages are doing their job.

What we do with it

We use it to answer you, to quote your roof, to fulfil an order, and to follow up about that roof. That is the whole list.

What we will not do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to a lead broker. A roofing enquiry is worth money to other people and we are not in that business.

Who else touches it

The services that make the site work: our hosting and database providers, our email provider, our analytics provider, and the voice platform that runs the phone agent. If you ask for managed installation, we pass what a contractor needs to quote and perform the work to the bonded and insured contractor assigned to your job — and to nobody else.

Payment card details are handled by the payment processor and never reach us. We do not store card numbers, and we never take them by voice.

How long we keep it

Roof files are kept while the enquiry is live and for as long afterwards as we need them for our records and tax obligations. Ask us to delete yours and we will, except where we are required to keep an order record.

Your say

Write to us and you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reply to any message from us and it reaches a real person.

Every email we send about your roof can be unsubscribed from in one click, and unsubscribing stops the follow-up without closing your file.
